ABOUT ME

I am a highly talented and creative user experience (UX) strategist capable of defining a results-driven, long-term digital strategy. I have 11+ years of experience working on higher education, government and client-facing websites and software platforms skilled in research, design, delivery, and execution of organizational web and digital operations. My expertise is working directly with staff, students, faculty, clients, and stakeholders in different capacities to gather requirements, translate technical needs, and provide guidance on content placement, overall website information architecture, and innovative solutions.


I am adept at UX research, content design, information architecture, website development, and digital marketing and focus on creating an engaging, user friendly web presence. I am experienced in team and project leadership, as well as stakeholder communication and coordination of project workflow. I have exceptional ability to translate requirements into actionable design elements that meet client needs.

I enjoy working on a fast-paced team that values individual contributions and celebrates team accomplishments.

  • Managed the SOE’s website, which has an average of 140,000 monthly pageviews, ensuring consistent usability and 508-compliance across
    the site.

  • Designed, built, and deployed significant portions of the SOE’s website.

  • Used HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript to create pages outside content management system limitations. 

  • Managed the SOE’s FootPrints ticketing system and responded to daily requests and inquiries from faculty, students, and staff pertaining to the website and email marketing inquiries. 

  • Used MailChimp to write and design weekly, monthly, and yearly newsletters sent to U-M SOE staff, faculty, students, alumni, and community members.

  • Trained staff, faculty, and students on email and web marketing best practices using ExpressionEngine Content Management System and MailChimp.

  • Conducted stakeholder interviews and analyzed responses to determine business goals of website redesign project.
